Our consultants will define with you the precise scope of the project and the deliverables, using PRINCE2 accredited project managers, Infrasys will then take responsibility for all aspects of delivery of the project ensuring that it is delivered on time, to budget and that the benefits are realised.
	The Problem The typical problems that Infrasys' project services can address are a lack of capacity to deliver a particular project, a shortage of the relevant skills, the introduction of new technology or the need to accelerate the pace of project delivery.
	Service Scope Infrasys will undertake a wide range of IT project assignments ranging from consultancy to actual delivery. Types of project include: Consultancy assignments – typically short-term, analysing a situation and proposing a way forward Design assignments – where a detailed design will be undertaken for the client to implement Delivery assignments – where Infrasys will take full responsibility for the project from design through to commissioning and operational hand–over Infrasys can undertake all types of infrastructure projects from computer room facilitisation through to network design, but our core activity is around enterprise system administration and all aspects of enterprise storage. Infrasys will undertake projects on either a fixed price or a day rate basis. Our preferred approach is to do a short fixed-price analysis/design study, and then to provide a fixed-price quotation for the balance of the job.

	Reference Site BMW Group - When BMW broke up Rover Group and sold parts of business to Ford (Land Rover) and Phoenix (MG Rover), whilst retaining parts of the business for itself, Infrasys undertook the task of "disaggregating" the highly integrated Unix engineering environment. This involved separating/replicating 450 servers, 8TB of storage, & 1,100,000 CAD models across 6 sites. The project was delivered on time and with no loss of service.
